What Is The Role?
BI Worldwide are seeking a number of talented and experienced Business Development Directors to join their sales teams across the US. This role is all about building relationships with your clients and stretching the potential of that relationship to build revenue. The role is a mixture of business development and account management with the expectation being that you will build your pipeline, nurture your accounts, expand revenue, and constantly be on the up.
As a BDD, it will be your job to identify the right strategy, identify the right people, develop the relationship with those people, and gain access to them. You will be targeting Fortune 500 companies. Currently, BI Worldwide are working with 60 of these companies so there are plenty for you to target.

Please note: the role in Detroit is the same as above but will be focused exclusively on the automotive industry.
You must be located within a reasonable distance of the location you apply for - this is a hybrid role* and you will be expected to visit clients as well as be in the office three days a week.
We Are Seeking...
Someone with at least seven years of experience in selling $250k+ sized, complex, B2B deals - involving 3/6/12 month sales cycles - to Fortune 1000 companies.
A clear and demonstrable history of new business development selling marketing solutions and/or professional business services.
A stable and consistent career history of a maximum of three employers in the past ten years (unless there is a solid reason why e.g. Covid-related).
*Except for Washington DC which is currently a remote role due to there being no physical presence within this area. Role is suitable to anyone within the DC or Virginia areas.
Roles are currently available in:
$135k Base
All salespeople on the same base salary - non-negotiable
Uncapped Commission
at 1% of all revenue from day 1
On average, Year 3+ BDDs taking home around $250-275k (top performers are earning nearer to $500k!)
Year 1 & 2 Support Plan
Activity bonuses and results bonuses (averaging at around $40-45k total) in addition to 1% commission on all revenue.
Car Allowance
Around $10k
Expense Account
Unlimited budget for entertaining clients
Bonuses
Productivity bonuses from Year 3 onwards focused on overall revenue and profitiability of revenue
Hybrid Working
Mon & Fri: at home
Tues, Weds & Thurs: in the office
President's Club
Be awarded and recognized for your hard work and achievements
Min. Deal size of $250k
Their largest clients spend up to $50 mil/year
